Pennsylvania Privacy Notice

For Pennsylvania residents, Pennsylvania does not currently have a single comprehensive consumer privacy law that creates broad statutory rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of the use of personal information. However, Pennsylvania law does require businesses and other covered entities to use reasonable care with sensitive personal information and to provide notice when certain computerized personal information is accessed or acquired through a qualifying security breach.

If a data incident involving Pennsylvania residents requires notice under Pennsylvania’s Breach of Personal Information Notification Act, Under Fire will provide required notices without unreasonable delay and will make any required notifications to the Pennsylvania Attorney General, consumer reporting agencies, or affected residents when applicable. Where required by law, affected Pennsylvania residents may also be offered access to credit monitoring or related protections.

Pennsylvania residents may contact us at author@charlessmoot.com with privacy-related questions or requests. We will review and respond to such requests consistent with applicable law and our legitimate business, legal, security, and recordkeeping needs.
